About Envisage

Founded in 2007 by Meena Murthy Kakkar and Vishal Kakkar, graduates of the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi, Envisage was established with a clear intent, to bridge the disconnect between design vision and on-site execution.

Early in their practice, the founders recognized a recurring industry gap: clients were forced to navigate fragmented services, where design, civil work, and execution operated in silos. This often diluted the integrity of the original concept.

Envisage was built to close that gap as an integrated Design + Build studio delivering accountability from idea to handover. The firm stands for thoughtful, context-aware design that balances aesthetic depth with functional clarity and cost responsibility. With a strong focus on residential and learning environments,

Meena Murthy Kakkar

Co-Founder & Principal Architect

Meena Murthy Kakkar is a graduate of the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi, and co-founded Envisage in 2007 with a vision to create culturally rooted yet contemporary spaces. With a keen eye for spatial narrative and material sensitivity, she leads the studio’s residential and institutional projects.

Her approach balances aesthetic refinement with functional clarity, ensuring each space evolves intuitively with its users while remaining grounded in context and craft.

Vishal Kakkar

Co-Founder & Principal Architect

Vishal Kakkar, a graduate of the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi, co-established Envisage with a focus on integrating design intent with technical precision. He oversees project execution, civil integration, and on-site coordination, ensuring conceptual clarity translates seamlessly into built reality.

His strength lies in aligning creativity with feasibility; delivering cost-conscious, structurally sound, and detail-driven environments that uphold the studio’s commitment to accountability and craftsmanship.
